Join us March 7th for ‘Tantura’
The 2022 documentary Tantura is about the ethnic cleansing of one Palestinian village, and the Nakba censorship that followed. A deeply moving and important film that shatters many foundational myths, and reckons with who gets to write and rewrite history. Followed by a facilitated discussion on the implications of the film on the ongoing Nakba in Palestine including space for reflections from the audience.
Link for sliding scale tickets, everyone is welcome!
All proceeds are going to support local Palestinian families through @cpsa_london and in honour of International Women’s Day, @unfpapalestine essential health care services to pregnant women and newborns in Gaza.
Presented by Independent Jewish Voices London, Ontario in partnership with our friends at the Canadian Palestinian Social Association, People for Peace London, The Care Collective, and the Council of Canadians London Chapter.
