No Space for Hate Rally
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM London City Hall 300 Dufferin Avenue London, ON N6B1Z2
Dear Friends,
Once again, we are calling for action to fight hate in London and across Ontario. We must oppose the ongoing attempts by groups with connections to the convoy movement to spread disinformation and to promote hatred through upcoming events this Saturday, October 21. The London and District Labour Council is mobilizing with unions and community allies to ensure that we demonstrate our support for Trans and 2SLGBTQIA+ people and to stand up against the rise of hate and attacks on public education and education workers in our communities.
We welcome you to join us on October 21 at London City Hall for a rally called “No Space for Hate” from noon to 1:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear Pride clothing, bring union flags and Pride swag such as noise makers, and listen to the creative drumming of the amazing Beats Collective. This will be a positive, peaceful and non-confrontational event to demonstrate that there is no place for hate in London, or in Ontario and Canada.
In Solidarity,
Patti Dalton
President, London and District Labour Council
